Visible Figures

Visible Figures, as a nonprofit organization, is committed to empowering and supporting marginalized and underrepresented women entrepreneurs. The mission of this organization is multifaceted, encompassing education, enrichment, and provision of resources. Through their initiatives, Visible Figures aims to serve and uplift a diverse group of women entrepreneurs.

In 2022, Visible Figures demonstrated their dedication to their mission by serving 250 members through their quarterly newsletter and Google Group listserv. These platforms provided a space for networking, sharing resources, and accessing valuable information. Additionally, the organization hosted two events with 79 attendees, offering opportunities for face-to-face interaction and learning. Furthermore, Visible Figures organized three virtual events covering topics such as mental health, board readiness, and fundraising, thereby equipping their members with crucial skills and knowledge.

Beyond these direct engagement activities, Visible Figures also facilitated approximately $2.5 million in additional deal flow for a dozen of their members. This not only helped these entrepreneurs secure potential investments but also expanded their business opportunities. Moreover, Visible Figures forged new connections between their members and investors, as well as potential clients, thereby creating a ripple effect of support and growth.
