The medical center offers a range of services tailored to meet the diverse health needs of its population. In 2022, Washington Regional performed over 11,000 surgeries, distributed nearly 8 million supply items, and executed more than 140,000 diagnostic procedures. These services extend beyond inpatient care, with the center also providing outpatient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and sleep disorders center.

Washington Regional goes beyond just medical treatment by offering support services at no additional cost to patients. These include pastoral care, case management, palliative/supportive care, and volunteer services. The team of chaplains works closely with local religious leaders to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients. Case management assists patients and families in finding community resources, home care, and financial assistance when needed. The palliative/supportive care team helps patients with complex health conditions understand and manage their treatment options.

Volunteer services play an integral role in Washington Regional, offering assistance to patients and visitors throughout the hospital. These volunteers significantly contribute to the institution's mission by providing valuable assistance at the information desk and in waiting areas.

Washington Regional Medical Center is committed to delivering a wide range of comprehensive services, addressing the general health care needs of its community. These services include internal medicine, geriatric health, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal intensive care, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, intensive care, coronary intensive care, stroke care, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, and nursing services.

The Women and Infants Center at Washington Regional continues to serve area families with essential labor and delivery services. It features 18 labor and delivery rooms, 28 private mother-baby rooms, a 34-bed neonatal intensive care unit, and a dedicated pharmacy. The Angel Eye Camera System and Milk Lab, staffed by technologists specialized in infant nutrition, are also available to families.

Washington Regional Medical Center is a leader in providing expert care for critical care patients. Its team of intensivists, highly trained and experienced medical specialists, coordinate care provided by nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals. In 2022, the medical center provided 25 hospitalists and 20 intensive care unit beds to the community. This hands-on approach not only helps prevent medical complications but also reduces hospital stays and lowers costs.

Washington Regional continues to be the only neuro intensive care unit in the region, serving patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, or neuroologic illness. The neuro ICU features advanced neurological tools and maintains Joint Commission certification for primary stroke centers. Washington Regional is committed to providing the best chance of survival and recovery for stroke patients through advanced treatments and expert care.
