ECMC Education, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming career and technical education. Through its mission, the institution aims to equip aspiring and current learners with essential skills to elevate their careers and communities. ECMC Education, Inc. focuses on the postsecondary education industry, offering programs with an emphasis on allied health and trades. The organization collaborates with faculty, industry leaders, and employers to identify the required skills, competencies, behaviors, and certifications that fit the needs of the job market. ECMC Education, Inc.'s schools are accredited to grant diplomas and associate degrees.

ECMC Education, Inc. caters to a non-traditional, underserved student population. Sixty-seven percent of its students are eligible for Pell Grants, with fifty-four percent receiving full Pell Grants. The student body is predominantly female, with eighty-seven percent being non-White. Fifty-nine percent of students are older than twenty-five years old, and sixty-six percent are first-time, first-year college students. Only twenty percent of students depend on their parents or guardians' financial resources. ECMC Education, Inc. makes the transition from high school to a postsecondary institution as seamless as possible by delivering a holistic learning experience. Students receive academic support through academic counseling, tutoring, and remedial education services, as well as financial literacy counseling and career counseling.

Learning resource centers on ECMC Education, Inc.'s campuses support academic programs by providing books, shop and service manuals, periodicals, computers, and curriculum-based online resources. These resource centers are staffed with trained professionals to assist in the research needs of students and faculty. ECMC Education, Inc.'s educational philosophy emphasizes employability and professional accomplishment. The academic and career success of its graduates is a top priority, and the organization's holistic approach focuses on graduation and job placement. ECMC Education, Inc.'s career services experts provide students with placement assistance, including resume preparation, interviewing techniques, and job referrals. The organization arranges on-campus employer visits, lectures, career fairs, and field trips to increase the likelihood that students will obtain well-paying jobs. ECMC Education, Inc. also offers student activities that encourage school spirit and student leadership, such as intramural sports, clubs, professional development programs, resource fairs, and other extracurricular activities planned year-round.

On March 31, 2022, a plan for the liquidation of ECMC Education, Inc. and all three of its Altiereus schools was approved by the ECMC Group, Inc. Board of Directors. Effective immediately, ECMC Education, Inc. would no longer accept enrollments. The teach-outs are anticipated to be completed during 2023, with related expenses being settled through 2027. This change is part of ECMC Group, Inc.'s plan to concentrate primarily on its educational credit management corporation guarantor-related activities, ECMC Foundation, and education impact investing. As of December 31, 2022, ECMC Education, Inc. enrolls approximately 200 students and operates three schools in three states under the Altiereus brand.
