The Center for Contemplative Justice has made a significant impact through various initiatives that align contemplation with action for social equity and justice. Its work enhances local and international communities by addressing key issues such as education, health care, economic empowerment, and social justice.

In Ecuador, the Escuela Anne Stevens, established in 1999, has nurtured children's education in the community of San Eduardo while also sponsoring medical clinics to support local health needs. The formation of the women’s sewing cooperative, SIBIMBE, empowers survivors of poverty and domestic violence, providing them with skills and a sustainable income, thus improving their quality of life.

In Botswana, the collaboration with Holy Cross Hospice has transformed palliative care by promoting a compassionate approach to those suffering from terminal illnesses, including HIV-AIDS. This initiative provides not only critical health services but also trains caregivers, setting a precedent for humane healthcare practices in the region.

The Love Rises project in Ukraine utilizes constructive activities such as knitting to offer dignity, normalcy, and income to women during wartime. Each piece crafted becomes part of a broader narrative of resilience and connection, generating both income and emotional healing.

The Moringa Madres social enterprise employs mothers in Mexico, enabling them to cultivate and sell moringa, known for its nutritional benefits. This initiative not only fosters economic independence but also supports the community’s health.

Mindfulness initiatives, including the MINED program in Nashville, demonstrate the commitment to fostering mental wellness across diverse communities. The Wellness Center and functional outreach initiatives address holistic health, catering to the mind and body while facilitating access to essential resources.
