The Occumetrics program conducted 15 assessments with a combination of new and previously engaged agencies, expanding to add a full-time coordinator, and increasing funding allowed them to provide implementation support to agencies for the first time. Finally, MHAOHIO hosted the Ohio Legislative Mental Health Caucus, bringing together legislators to discuss mental health issues, and participated in two workforce development councils serving the state and Franklin County, respectively. The Franklin County Suicide Prevention Coalition (FCSPC) grew its team, engaging 522 community members through eight suicide prevention presentations and outreach events, and coordinating 12 evidence-based Question, Persuade, and Refer trainings. MHAOHIO is committed to transforming attitudes toward mental illness, making it easier to seek help, and providing the support needed for recovery and improved mental health.
