Victims Information Bureau of Suffolk, commonly known as ECLI-VIBES, is a pioneering organization dedicated to assisting survivors of various forms of violence, abuse, and crisis. Established in 1976, this nonprofit has made significant strides in the domestic violence and rape crisis movements. ECLI-VIBES' mission is twofold: firstly, it aims to support survivors of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse, human trafficking, and veterans experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder or military sexual traumas. Secondly, ECLI-VIBES strives to prevent the incidence of these crimes through educational programs and raising community awareness of the need for justice and compassion for victims.

ECLI-VIBES envisions a community free of all forms of abuse and advocates for societal changes that will eliminate or decrease domestic and sexual violence, elder abuse, and human trafficking. The organization provides a range of services to accomplish its mission, including a 24/7 helpline, counseling programs, advocacy programs, youth programs, legal programs, housing programs, sexual assault forensic examiner programs, an anti-human trafficking program, a community food pantry, a volunteer program, a communications program, an internship program, and an education program.

The 24/7 helpline offers a dedicated team of bilingual counselors who listen deeply and support clients to access the services they need. The counseling program provides individual and group counseling to clients starting at age three. The advocacy department addresses court advocacy, youth advocacy, and Latino community advocacy, working in solidarity with clients to address their needs individually and systematically. The youth program offers mentorship to support and empower youth who have experienced trauma. The legal program addresses legal needs for all survivors, creating accessible services for underserved populations and being the leading experts in all legal resources for survivors on Long Island. The housing program supports victims, survivors of violence, and individuals suffering from homelessness by empowering them to work towards a happy and safe life. The sexual assault forensic examiner program provides excellent medical care to survivors of sexual assault and rape. The anti-human trafficking program addresses human trafficking holistically with a multidisciplinary team. The community food pantry began serving the community in 2022, stocked with fresh produce, meats, and a variety of quality food items. The volunteer program provides support and assistance to the community. The communications program raises awareness about the services ECLI-VIBES offers, the issues it addresses, and communicates effectively with ECLI-VIBES' clients, stakeholders, and the wider community. The education program spreads knowledge to end generational trauma, encourages autonomy and independence for survivors, and enhances communities through education.
